The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, with Discovery, is the Biggest and Best Classic Motor Show in the UK! The event welcomes classic car enthusiasts from all over the UK and beyond to share their passion for classics. This year’s show was held from 10-12 November 2017 at Birmingham's NEC and showcased over 2,500 amazing classic cars and motorbikes covering over one million square feet – that’s about 12 football pitches! The most diverse mix of marques were showcased by 240 classic car and bike clubs from across the UK, displaying rare and loved classics that span more than 100 years. As well as a fantastic number of vehicles, you could also visit the UK’s biggest indoor Autojumble, a haven of parts and spares for anyone working on their car, as well as 650 specialist exhibitors and traders, offering a mix of products and services. With stunning classics, fantastic features, Silverstone Auctions one of the most high-profile classic car auctions in the UK, along with motoring celebrities including The Wheeler Dealers and much more, this was the must-attend event of the classic motoring calendar and a truly magnificent season finale!!
The Friends Annual Draw prize for 2018 is an Escort Cabriolet SI! Tickets are only £1 and are available online and at events across the South West. The winner will be drawn at our annual show in July 2018. More information and additional photos are available on the Friends' Draw page.
This year's annual draw was drawn at the Friends' show. The winner was Mr JohnCoughlan from Wells in Somerset. He bought the winning ticket (3836) at the Classic Car Show at Shepton Mallet in June. The photo shows John receiving the keys for the Mazda MX5 Nevada from our Treasurer, Dave Hunt.
We have a raffle car for the 2017! The draw will be held at the Annual Show on Sunday 9th July (when we also launch the 2017/18 draw). Our prize for 2017 is a 2003 Mazda-MX5 Nevada, which is a special edition – only 2,050 were produced. Tickets now available on line, from the museum and events throughout the South West.
