The Road Run - Saturday 11th July 2026

What you need to know...

Join us for a scenic journey through the beautiful Wiltshire countryside at the Atwell-Wilson Motor Museum Annual Road Run. Organized by the Atwell-Wilson Motor Museum, this event is perfect for anyone looking for a fun afternoon out with friends and family. With 40 miles of picturesque roads to explore, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to take in the stunning countryside along the way.

Our Road Run is an approximately 40 mile, 2 hour fun drive for up to 30 road legal cars with two or more occupants starting and ending at the Atwell-Wilson Motor Museum. Gates open at 3pm for a 4pm start. Upon arrival, each entrant is provided with route directions and a question sheet with mainly observational questions which passengers can complete for fun. This event is not a timed run. All cars taking part will comply with current roadworthy regulations and be taxed and insured. They will be guided out of the museum at approximately one minute intervals to prevent congestion during the drive. As part of the route directions, any areas of potential danger, e.g. fast flowing traffic at junctions, poor sight lines, will be highlighted. None of the questions require entrants to stop or disembark the vehicle. A BBQ and refreshments at the end of the run is offered for sale to each participant and passengers.

Get ready to rev your engines as we embark on this exciting automotive adventure! Whether you’re a car enthusiast or just looking for a unique experience, our road run has something for everyone. And don’t worry about getting lost – our expert guides will lead you through every twist and turn of the route. So grab your loved ones and get ready to make some unforgettable memories at this one-of-a-kind event. We can’t wait to see you there!
