Membership benefits
Members of the museum receive many benefits, including:
- Free entry to museum (except for special events)
- Regular newsletter
- Access to member’s area of the website
- Discounted entry to some classic vehicle shows (sometimes free if you are representing the Museum!)
- Opportunity to volunteer at the Museum in a way and at a time that fits with you
- Knowing you are helping to support a fully volunteer run organisation promoting classic vehicles
- Meeting other classic vehicle enthusiasts at our member’s meetings
Volunteering at the Museum
We welcome our members to volunteer at the Museum (but it’s not compulsory!)
The Museum is entirely staffed and run by volunteers and all our Directors are also volunteers so there is a huge range of activities that you can get involved in, such as:
- Keeping the exhibits and the site maintained and clean, either on a regular basis or as part of periodic working parties
- Helping run the reception and tea room areas
- Administration of the Museum
- Attending shows with the Museum stall to promote the Museum and help sell raffle tickets
- Helping organise and run our annual road run and show
Becoming a Member
You can apply for membership as an individual or as a family (2 adults and up to 3 children).
If you are applying as a new member you can download the application form using the buttons below and return the completed form by email or post to the membership secretary. Alternatively you can contact the membership secretary by email or post to the Museum to request further details or a form.
If you are an existing member seeking to renew you membership please don’t use this form but contact the membership secretary who will be able to assist.
